Katie Price has once again opened up about her past encounter with Simon Cowell, recalling the moment they shared a kiss after meeting at the Comedy Awards in 2003. 

The former glamour model, known for her candid revelations, 

had previously claimed she was invited to the music mogul’s luxurious Holland Park mansion following their interaction at the star-studded event.

A Longstanding Acquaintance

Katie’s connection with Simon dates back to when she was just 17 years old, aspiring to break into the music industry. 

She first met him through her then-manager, Harvey Smith. 

Their paths crossed again at the Comedy Awards, where their seemingly unlikely connection led to a memorable night.

In a recent interview, Katie delved into some of her unexpected romantic encounters, which included her brief moment with Cowell. She also disclosed that she once exchanged numbers with Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx. Reflecting on her past relationships, Katie admitted that choosing the wrong men had been one of her biggest downfalls.

Learning from the Past

The television personality, who has been married three times, opened up about her experiences with toxic relationships. She revealed that over the years, she had endured emotional, physical, and mental abuse.

“Men have been the downfall of me—my career has always been strong, but men have let me down,” she said in an interview with The Sun. “I’ve picked the wrong ones. They’ve been toxic or given me mental abuse, physical abuse, narcissistic behavior, gaslighting, jealousy. I got used to that and couldn’t spot a red flag.”

However, Katie shared that therapy had helped her recognize the warning signs of unhealthy relationships. “Now, I can spot signs and realize what’s unhealthy. I feel good, I feel settled, and I feel excited when I come home at night.”

The Kiss with Simon Cowell

During the interview, Katie was asked to revisit the details of her night with Cowell. When pressed about whether he was a good kisser, she coyly responded, “That’s for me to know.”

Katie first made the revelation about her encounter with Simon in a 2017 interview with The Sun on Sunday. She recalled being invited back to his home after the awards ceremony, a time when she was at the peak of her glamour modeling career.

“We kissed. I got undressed, and we got into bed together,” she recounted. “His bedclothes were all white. He had a really hairy chest, and I got this real sense of being with a man for the first time. He was the oldest person I had been in bed with.”

Despite the intimate moment, Katie revealed that they did not take things further. She explained that she had always been mindful of not engaging in casual one-night stands, a lesson instilled in her by her mother. “It was something my mum drummed into me from an early age. If a man wants you, he’ll wait for you,” she stated.

Katie’s name has come up in connection with Simon Cowell more than once. Back in 2013, during the spin-off show Britain’s Got More Talent, Simon made a cheeky remark about her while discussing Britain’s Got Talent contestant and impressionist Francine Lewis.

Katie had called in to praise Francine, who had done an impersonation of her on the show. Complimenting the impressionist, Katie said, “I think it’s amazing Francine has gone through. I am a big fan of hers—she’s so good at her impressions.”

Simon playfully responded, “I know you very well, Katie. I wish I knew you better.” When asked whether he would choose to date Katie or Francine, he quipped, “I’d have a threesome, I would.”

A surprised Katie then turned to Francine and jokingly asked, “Are you up for that, Francine?” To which Simon humorously added, “Well, two of us are anyway.”
