The hosts of Loose Women suggest they are being EXPLOITED by their bosses as they drop a cryptic remark about working in daytime television. What’s really going on?

ITV’s popular daytime talk show Loose Women is making a bold move by expanding its brand beyond television.

The show’s panel revealed on Thursday’s episode that, for the first time in its history, Loose Women will be launching a podcast.

This exciting new venture is set to kick off next month in celebration of International Women’s Day, bringing fans a fresh and unfiltered take on the topics that matter most.

A Historic Announcement

The Loose Women panel—consisting of Kaye Adams, Kelly Brook, Nadia Sawalha, and Jane Moore—teased the big reveal early in the show,

hinting that something major was on the horizon. Anchor Kaye Adams built up the anticipation before finally unveiling the news:

“It’s time to share our exciting news—something we’ve never done before in the history of the show. For the first time ever, we are very excited to announce the launch of Loose Women: The Podcast!”

The panelists expressed their enthusiasm, emphasizing that the podcast will provide an opportunity to have longer, deeper, and more candid discussions that go beyond the time restrictions of the television format.

What Fans Can Expect from the Podcast

Over the past 25 years, Loose Women has been a staple on British television, engaging audiences with open and often humorous discussions on a wide range of topics. Now, the show’s creators are taking that concept a step further by offering a more intimate and behind-the-scenes experience through the podcast.

Kaye Adams explained the motivation behind the project, saying:

“After more than 25 years on your TV screens, we are getting even looser—if that was possible! We’re launching next month to celebrate International Women’s Day, and we’re going to go even deeper into the issues that matter most to you. Plus, you’ll get a chance to hear what really happens behind the scenes… which makes me a little bit nervous, to be honest!”

The podcast will feature weekly episodes, with two different Loose Women panelists hosting each time. This means listeners will get a variety of perspectives and fresh dynamics with every episode.

Inspired by the Talkathon and Live Tour

The idea for the podcast reportedly came from the success of the Loose Women Talkathon and the show’s live tour, where panelists engaged in longer, unscripted conversations.

Kaye reflected on the experience, saying:

“Despite knowing each other so well, we started having completely different conversations because we actually had the time to explore topics in depth.”

Nadia Sawalha echoed this sentiment, adding:

“Everything we say on the show has to be said within two minutes, so I’m just so excited that we’ll finally have the time to have proper discussions. During the live tour, we had so much fun because we didn’t have anyone listening in or telling us to wrap up. So now, we’re going to get really loose! It’s going to be an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes look at Loose Women.”

Where and When to Listen

Fans will be able to listen to Loose Women: The Podcast across various streaming platforms, and in an exciting twist, they’ll also be able to watch it on ITVX. This will give viewers a chance to see the conversations unfold in a way that isn’t always possible on the television show.

Nadia Sawalha, who has recently started her own podcast, admitted that she was initially unfamiliar with the format but has since grown to love it.

“Before I started my own podcast, I didn’t even know what a podcast was! It’s like a radio show, but you can talk much longer, make mistakes, and really let things out that you wouldn’t normally say on TV.”

Jane Moore also highlighted the interactive aspect of the podcast, explaining that listeners will have the opportunity to ask questions and shape the discussions.

A New Chapter for Loose Women

The launch of Loose Women: The Podcast marks a significant milestone for the show, which first aired in 1999. Having celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, the decision to branch out into the podcasting world demonstrates the program’s commitment to evolving with its audience.

By offering longer conversations, exclusive behind-the-scenes stories, and a platform for deeper discussions, the podcast is expected to resonate with long-time fans and attract new listeners who enjoy engaging and unfiltered conversations.

With the first episode set to launch in March, fans won’t have to wait long to experience Loose Women in a brand-new way. Whether listening on the go or watching on ITVX, this new format promises to bring all the humor, honesty, and lively debates that have made the show a beloved staple of British television—only now, with no time limits and no restrictions.
