Pregnant Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright Forced to Hide as Their Mansion is Targeted by Masked Raiders

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright faced a terrifying ordeal when their Essex mansion became the target of a break-in. 

The couple, who are expecting their first child, were forced to lock themselves in their bedroom as masked intruders attempted to raid their home.

The distressing incident took place on Tuesday evening when the couple reportedly heard the sound of their porch window shattering, followed by their home security alarm going off. 

According to sources, four masked individuals gained entry to the couple’s lavish property, 

but their attempt to ransack the home was cut short when Mark shouted, scaring them off. The burglars fled in a getaway car before police arrived.

Authorities were promptly alerted through the couple’s security system. Fortunately, despite the terrifying nature of the intrusion, nothing was stolen from their £3.5 million mansion. However, the couple is said to be deeply shaken by the experience.

Essex Police issued a statement confirming the investigation remains ongoing. A spokesperson explained, “Four suspects forced entry into an address and conducted a search before fleeing the scene. Officers arrived within eight minutes and are continuing to provide support to the victims. High-visibility patrols have been implemented in the area as we explore several lines of inquiry, including forensic investigations, CCTV analysis, and witness statements.” Authorities have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.

A source close to the couple spoke about the frightening event, stating, “It was a traumatic experience for them, but they are relieved no one was harmed. Mark acted swiftly to ensure Michelle’s safety, and they remained in their room until the police arrived.” The couple’s security measures, including their alarm system, played a crucial role in alerting law enforcement in time.

Michelle and Mark have frequently shared glimpses of their home renovation journey with fans through their dedicated Instagram account, which boasts nearly 700,000 followers. The break-in comes just months after Michelle shared the joyful news of her pregnancy in December 2024.
