Charlene White, beloved presenter of *Loose Women*, broke down in tears as she tearfully paid tribute to her late friend, Darrell, during an emotional broadcast.

“He popped round to my house for his birthday lunch and told me all about it,” Charlene recalled, her voice breaking as she spoke. 

“He fought through it for four and a half years, and I’m incredibly proud of him.”

She shared how Darrell had been there for her through every significant life event. From their youthful antics to the present day, Charlene spoke lovingly of their friendship, recalling the times they spent together. “The nonsense our little crew would get up to was hilarious back in the day,” she reminisced, smiling through her tears.

Charlene also revealed that she had been the best man at Darrell’s wedding and was the godmother to his eldest child. “He has been my brother since we met at 16 years old,” she said, clearly shaken by the loss of someone she considered family.
