Fred Sirieix has taken to social media for the first time since TV chef Gino D’Acampo was accused of “sexually inappropriate” behavior.

The allegations, spanning over 12 years, surfaced in a report by ITV News,
where multiple individuals described D’Acampo’s actions as “unacceptable,” “distressing,” and “horrendous.”
D’Acampo has strongly denied the accusations, labeling them as “deeply upsetting.”

The well-known chef has built a high-profile career through appearances on various television programs,
including ITV’s Family Fortunes and, more recently, Gino and Fred: Emission Impossible alongside Fred Sirieix.
The duo has also teamed up with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay on multiple projects, most notably Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.
Amid the controversy surrounding his co-star, Fred Sirieix made a social media post—but not about the allegations. Instead, he shared a promotional video showcasing his newly renovated kitchen. In the Instagram post, which was an advertisement for Howdens Joinery, Sirieix expressed his delight in the transformation, describing it as inspired by his grandparents.
“My brand new @howdensjoinery kitchen. I’m loving the cosy farmhouse feel inspired by a picture of my lovely grandparents,” Sirieix captioned his post. “I wanted this kitchen to feel traditional in style, functional in its design, and practical for everyday use – with Lamona appliances bringing it all together. It’s now a space in my home filled with memories, both old and new. What do you think?”
In the accompanying video, Sirieix provided viewers with a closer look at his remodeled space, saying, “Welcome to my new Howdens kitchen, I love it. I want to say a big thank you to the tradespeople who built it because the quality is second to none and to host in this kitchen is a dream come true.” Notably, he has yet to address the allegations against D’Acampo.
Meanwhile, ITV News detailed specific claims against D’Acampo, including an incident in 2011 where a woman, identified as “Hannah” in the report to protect her identity, alleged that the chef made crude remarks towards her. She recounted that he told her he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter,” which was met with laughter from some crew members. She described the moment as demeaning, saying it made her feel “very, very, very small.”
“I definitely saw it as some kind of power play,” she told ITV News. “The very act of what he said was aggressive. He did not think that was an inappropriate thing to say to me.”
In response to the allegations, representatives for D’Acampo issued a statement denying the claims. “This allegation from almost 15 years ago has never, until now via a media request for comment, been raised or put to Mr. D’Acampo. He does not recall it, nor accept that this happened. Mr. D’Acampo is horrified to be accused of ‘power play’ and an ‘aggressive act.’ He emphatically and unequivocally denies these allegations.”
As the controversy continues to unfold, neither ITV nor the production companies behind the shows featuring D’Acampo have released further comments. Similarly, Fred Sirieix has yet to publicly address the allegations against his longtime colleague.
