Brittany Mahomes has made it clear that she will be keeping her newborn daughter, Golden, out of the public eye for the foreseeable future. 

The mother of three took to Instagram on March 4 to share her decision, letting followers know they won’t be seeing Golden’s face in photos or videos anytime soon.

Clearing Up the Confusion

The decision came after some confusion arose over a previous social media post. 

Brittany had reshared a video originally posted by her personal trainer, which showed a baby sitting in a rocking seat. 

In the same photo, a stroller was visible—but completely covered. 

Many of her followers mistakenly assumed the baby in the seat was Golden when, in reality, it was the trainer’s child.

Brittany took to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight. “Golden is in the stroller. You can’t see her, and won’t for a while,” she wrote, addressing the mix-up directly.

Despite keeping her youngest child’s face private, Brittany continues to share glimpses of their life as a growing family. Before heading into a workout session, she posted a video of herself gently rocking Golden in her stroller, captioning it, “My fav workout partner.”

A Private Introduction to the World

Brittany and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, welcomed their third child in January. The couple made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of Golden’s tiny feet alongside her full name and birthdate. However, they chose not to reveal her face—a pattern they have continued since her birth.

While the couple has been known to share plenty of family moments online, they appear to be taking a different approach with their youngest child. Unlike Golden, the Mahomes’ older children—Sterling, 4, and Bronze, 2—have been featured prominently on Brittany’s social media.

Most recently, Sterling stole the spotlight as Brittany shared highlights from her fourth birthday party, which was themed around the popular children’s show Bluey. The little one was seen joyfully jumping and playing in a pink and green flamingo dress, enjoying the special celebration with family and friends.

Just days before the party, Brittany also posted a heartfelt tribute to Sterling on her birthday.

“This sweetest, most kind little girl ever!” she wrote. “I thank God every day for choosing me to be your mom. You have taught me so much about life and what matters most, and I truly am so thankful you made me a mama! You are the best big sister to Golden & Bronze, and they are so lucky to have you guiding them.”

While all three of the Mahomes children made an appearance in the post, Golden’s face remained out of sight, consistent with Brittany’s decision to maintain her privacy.

Despite Patrick Mahomes’ demanding career in the NFL, the family remains close-knit and frequently shares glimpses of their life together. Patrick, who recently led the Kansas City Chiefs to another Super Bowl victory, has often spoken about how much his role as a father means to him.

After the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII win against the San Francisco 49ers, Patrick celebrated on the field with Brittany and their children. Photos captured the special moment, with Sterling and Bronze joining their dad in the victory celebrations. Though Golden was not visible at the time, she was undoubtedly part of the family’s post-game joy.
