Alison Hammond delighted fans on This Morning as she shared a rare and intimate moment with her boyfriend, David Putman, during Friday’s episode of the ITV show. 

The 50-year-old presenter recently returned from a romantic trip to New York with her 27-year-old partner, 

and to mark Valentine’s Day, she gave viewers a sneak peek into their love story.

The affectionate moment, captured during their trip to the Big Apple, was met with excitement from her co-host, 

Dermot O’Leary, who couldn’t help but comment on the cinematic quality of the image.

“You just got back from New York with your Valentine. Let’s take a look…” Dermot teased before unveiling the romantic snapshot.

The image showed Alison and David locked in a loving embrace, with a “Happy Valentine’s” sticker added over the top. Dermot jokingly compared the picture to a movie poster, saying, “Hang on a minute… is that a movie poster?! I swear I had a poster up like that in my bedroom!”

“I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference. But honestly, when we see the word ‘toyboy’ written about us, it bears no relation to what we have at all.”

She went on to describe how David’s personality and maturity make their relationship feel natural.

“Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me, ‘We get it now.’ He’s so mature and sensible, and I’m so not.”

Alison also shared how David’s kind words and thoughtful nature have cemented their bond.

“The things he says to me… they’re just so lovely. It’s like a jigsaw; we fit and it all comes together.”

Just last month, Alison and David had to put an end to speculation that they had secretly broken up. After rumors began circulating, the couple was spotted looking happier than ever, sharing a passionate kiss while out shopping.
