A member of The Two Pints Podcast team leaked an altered clip showing Will Mellor “angrily scolding” Ralf Little during filming, stating: “They even got into a fght…”

Viewers of The One Show were treated to unexpected chaos on Tuesday evening

when actors Will Mellor and Ralf Little got caught up in a fit of laughter, prompting Will to hilariously snap at Ralf to “shut it” live on air.

The pair, who were on the BBC program to promote their upcoming Two Pints Live! tour, found themselves struggling to contain their amusement, throwing the show into disorder.

Uncontrollable Laughter Distracts Hosts

Presenters Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne welcomed the former Two Pints of Lager & A Packet of Crisps co-stars onto the show’s famous green sofa.

The duo, now hosts of The Two Pints Podcast, were meant to discuss their live tour, but things quickly went off track after a segment about the show’s pocket garden makeover competition, run in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society.

Unable to contain their giggles, Will and Ralf became a major distraction as Roman and Lauren attempted to encourage viewers to enter the competition. With the actors laughing uncontrollably, Roman playfully scolded them, saying, “You two have got to stop laughing.”

Even Hollywood actress Kate Hudson, who was also a guest on the show, was intrigued by the outburst and asked, “I have to know—what is so funny?!”

Ralf, still barely able to speak through his laughter, attempted to explain: “Will thought a pocket garden was soil in your pocket.”

Roman, noticing the sheer struggle the two were having, quipped, “I could see you crying in the corner of my eye!”

Will Mellor Fires Back at Ralf Little

As the laughter continued, Will finally had enough of Ralf’s teasing and cut him off mid-sentence, snapping, “Do you know what it is… shut it, Ralf!”

Still chuckling, he defended himself: “I’m allowed to get things wrong! I take things literally—you said a pocket garden, I thought it was a garden in your pocket.”

Despite Will’s protest, Ralf could not stop laughing, telling the hosts, “He’s killing me tonight.”

The teasing continued as Ralf recounted another hilarious moment that happened before the show started. “We sat on the sofa and he went, ‘How shall I sit?’ I said, ‘You can’t man-spread in front of Kate Hudson. It’s mortifying.’ And then he did the pocket garden thing… he’s killing me.”

The chemistry between the two friends was evident, and while their antics may have briefly disrupted The One Show, it was all in good fun, providing a lighthearted moment for both the guests and viewers at home.

Will and Ralf’s Comedy Chemistry: From Sitcom Stars to Podcast Hosts

Will Mellor, 48, and Ralf Little, 45, first became household names in the early 2000s thanks to their roles on the BBC sitcom Two Pints of Lager & A Packet of Crisps. Ralf played Jonny Keogh from 2001 to 2006, while Will starred as Gaz Wilkinson from 2001 until the show ended in 2011.

Years later, the duo reunited in 2020 to launch The Two Pints Podcast, where they bring their natural comedic banter to listeners. The podcast’s official synopsis reads:

“For almost the whole decade of the noughties, Will Mellor and Ralf Little defined the voice of a generation in the hit BBC show Two Pints of Lager & A Packet of Crisps. A decade later, the boys reunited and launched The Two Pints Podcast, now in its fifth series. Enjoying the kind of banter that only true friends can have, Will and Ralf chat s**t to each other, to fellow celebs, and to guests with fascinating stories to tell… all over two pints (or sometimes a cup of tea).”

The Two Pints Live! Tour

Capitalizing on their podcast’s success, Will and Ralf have decided to take their antics on the road with the Two Pints Live! tour. The duo will be visiting multiple cities across the UK this November, kicking off on November 1 and wrapping up on November 22.

Fans can catch them in major locations such as Birmingham, York, Liverpool, Manchester, Halifax, Nottingham, and London. The live shows promise plenty of laughs, unscripted conversations, and behind-the-scenes stories from their time on Two Pints of Lager & A Packet of Crisps and beyond.

Their Careers Beyond Two Pints

Since their sitcom days, both Will and Ralf have built impressive careers in British television.

Ralf Little has starred in several popular TV dramas and comedies, including Marple, Heartbeat, and Death in Paradise, where he currently plays DI Neville Parker.

Will Mellor has taken on diverse roles in shows such as Unforgiven, Waterloo Road, EastEnders, Merlin, and Coronation Street. He even showcased his dancing skills on Strictly Come Dancing, proving his versatility as an entertainer.

A Hilarious Moment That Stole the Show

Although The One Show is known for its smooth and professional interviews, Will and Ralf’s unexpected outburst proved that even live television can take a turn for the unpredictable. Their infectious laughter and natural chemistry reminded fans why they remain one of Britain’s most beloved comedy duos.

As they prepare for their upcoming tour, one thing is clear—whether on TV, on a podcast, or on stage, Will Mellor and Ralf Little never fail to entertain.
