Kyle Walker has officially settled into his new life in Italy after joining AC Milan in January. 

The England international has opted for a lavish £10,000-per-week apartment in Milan’s prestigious City Life district, while his wife, 

Annie Kilner, remains in England with their four children. Despite his move, the couple has no immediate plans to relocate together, as their marriage remains in a delicate state.

Walker’s New Luxury Living Arrangement

Walker, 34, has chosen a high-end three-bedroom apartment in one of Milan’s most exclusive residential areas.

The complex, known for its futuristic skyscrapers, boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including round-the-clock security and cutting-edge fitness centers. 

The footballer’s decision to live in an apartment rather than a larger family home is seen by some as an indication that he wants some time alone while adjusting to life in a new country.

A source close to the couple revealed, “Their marriage is still very rocky. While things are better than before, there is still a lot to work on. Kyle’s move to Milan was quite sudden, and it’s not easy for Annie to just pack up and move the whole family.”

Kilner, 33, reportedly has not yet committed to relocating to Italy permanently. However, she did visit Milan with their children to watch Walker’s AC Milan debut, taking time to explore the city and enjoy some family moments. After the visit, she returned to their £3.5 million Cheshire mansion in England with their children.

Marriage Challenges and Separation

The couple’s relationship has been under strain for some time. Last year, Kilner filed for divorce and temporarily kicked Walker out of their family home after learning that he had secretly fathered a second child with his ex, Lauryn Goodman. Despite these difficulties, the pair is committed to maintaining stability for their four children.

An insider shared, “They are focused on keeping their family united and ensuring their kids are not affected by any fallout. They spent Christmas together as a family, but no final decisions have been made about their future.”

Reports also surfaced that Goodman, Walker’s ex, might consider moving to Italy. However, sources close to the footballer have dismissed these claims as mere speculation.

Walker Embraces Milan’s Lifestyle

Walker’s new residence is located in one of three striking glass skyscrapers in City Life, known as Il Diritto (The Straight One), Lo Storto (The Twisted One), and Il Curvo (The Curved One). The district is home to some of Milan’s most affluent residents, including AC Milan stars past and present, such as Tijjani Reijnders, Rafael Leão, and club legend Zlatan Ibrahimović, who played a key role in convincing Walker to join the team.

Properties in this area come with a hefty price tag. Basic apartments start at £1 million, while penthouses exceed £5 million. Renting a unit, like Walker’s, can cost around £10,000 per month. The district is known for its luxury lifestyle, where high-end sports cars, personal dog walkers, and designer shopping are the norm.

A café worker in the area noted, “City Life has become the place to be for footballers and celebrities. The lifestyle here is very relaxed, and the apartments are incredibly luxurious—especially the penthouses, which have stunning terraces and views.”

A New Chapter at AC Milan

Walker’s move to AC Milan came after a challenging first half of the season at Manchester City. Since joining the Rossoneri, he has made four appearances, and sources close to him say he is enjoying his time both on and off the pitch.

“Kyle is loving life and football again,” said an insider. “He seems like a new man in Milan, happier and more focused. Maybe it’s the relief of leaving his personal troubles behind in England.”

As Walker settles into his new environment, the future of his marriage remains uncertain. While Kilner and their children are expected to visit him occasionally, a full family relocation to Milan is not on the horizon.
