Katie Price has never shied away from discussing her relationships, and in a new candid interview, 

the 46-year-old former glamour model has opened up about how her romantic choices have often led to personal struggles. 

Speaking to The Sun, Katie revealed that while her career has remained strong over the years, it is the men in her life who have caused her the most difficulty.

A History of High-Profile Relationships

For years, Katie has dominated headlines with her tumultuous love life, which includes a series of ex-boyfriends and three widely publicized marriages. 

Among her most famous relationships is her marriage to singer Peter Andre, whom she wed in 2005 after meeting on I’m A Celebrity… 

Get Me Out of Here!. The couple, who share two children, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, ultimately divorced in 2009.

She later married cage fighter Alex Reid in 2010, but their whirlwind Las Vegas wedding ended in divorce less than a year later. Katie then tied the knot with dancer Kieran Hayler in 2013, and the pair welcomed two children together, son Jett, 11, and daughter Bunny, 10. Despite renewing their vows three times, their marriage fell apart in 2018, and their divorce was finalized in 2021.

In addition to her marriages, Katie shares her eldest son Harvey, 22, with former footballer Dwight Yorke.

Struggles in Love and Toxic Relationships

Looking back on her past, Katie admitted that she has repeatedly chosen the wrong partners, often ending up in toxic situations. She revealed, “Men have been the downfall of me—my career has always been good, and men have let me down.”

She went on to describe the negative patterns she experienced in her relationships, including mental and physical abuse, narcissistic behavior, jealousy, and gaslighting. “I got used to that. I couldn’t spot a red flag,” she admitted.

However, after undergoing therapy, Katie now feels she has a better understanding of what makes a healthy relationship. “Now I can spot the signs and realize what unhealthy relationships are. I feel good, I feel settled, I feel excited when I come home at night.”

A Night with Simon Cowell

During the interview, Katie reflected on some of the more unexpected encounters from her past, including an intimate moment with X Factor judge Simon Cowell.

Recalling their encounter, Katie revealed that she first met Simon at the Comedy Awards in 2003. After the event, she was invited back to his lavish Holland Park mansion, where they shared a kiss. When asked whether Simon was a good kisser, Katie coyly replied, “That’s for me to know.”

Though they spent the night together, Katie clarified that they did not have full sex, citing her mother’s influence in discouraging one-night stands. “It was something my mum drummed into me from an early age. If a man wants you, he’ll wait for you,” she explained.

Katie also shared that she had long been friends with Simon, having first met him at 17 when she was an aspiring singer. Over the years, their paths crossed multiple times, but she always sensed that Simon preferred to keep their interactions private. “Perhaps he was concerned that I would reveal how intimate we had been?” she speculated.

A Hollywood Connection with Jamie Foxx

In addition to her encounter with Simon Cowell, Katie also revealed that she once exchanged numbers with Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx. The pair met at Elton John’s Oscars party in 2011, shortly after Katie had split from her second husband, Alex Reid.

While speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, she recalled the moment Jamie showed interest in her, saying, “Yes. I don’t have to say, but I don’t mind. I didn’t f**k him or anything like that. No, he was coming on (to me), we exchanged numbers and that.”

She also remarked on Jamie’s smaller-than-expected stature, saying, “It’s weird. When you go to places like the Oscars and see these people from films, you realize how small a lot of them are in real life.”

At the time, reports suggested that Katie had approached Jamie at the bar and the two engaged in flirtatious conversation before exchanging numbers. Though nothing serious came from their interaction, she admitted that she had been drawn to the Django Unchained star’s charisma.

Moving Forward with a New Outlook

Despite her tumultuous past relationships, Katie is currently dating Married at First Sight UK star JJ Slater. With a fresh perspective gained through therapy, she now feels more confident in her ability to recognize and avoid toxic dynamics.

Reflecting on her journey, Katie acknowledged that her past relationships have played a significant role in shaping her life but expressed optimism about the future. “I feel good, I feel settled,” she said, hinting at a newfound sense of peace in her personal life.

While Katie Price’s love life has often been a rollercoaster ride filled with dramatic ups and downs, she is now focused on making healthier choices and embracing the lessons she has learned along the way.
