Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has come under fire once again 

after an anonymous woman alleged that she warned ITV about his “vile” comments regarding Holly Willoughby back in 2018. 

The woman, who remains unnamed, claims she raised concerns about the TV personality’s behavior but was dismissed by multiple broadcasters, including ITV, BBC, and Channel 5.

The resurfaced accusations come amid growing claims of inappropriate conduct and bullying against D’Acampo, 48, spanning more than a decade. 

Several colleagues and former co-stars have stepped forward with allegations, leading to ITV quietly removing some of his programs from their schedule.

Allegations Against Gino D’Acampo Continue to Surface

The latest claims stem from remarks D’Acampo allegedly made in 2018 about former This Morning host Holly Willoughby and her close friend Fearne Cotton. According to the anonymous woman, the Italian chef frequently spoke about which of the two women he would rather sleep with.

“If I could put the face of one on the body of the other, then maybe,” he reportedly said, before adding, “but I’d probably choose Holly because I’d have more fun with her.”

The woman, disgusted by his comments, described D’Acampo as “crude and vile”, branding him a “vulgar cretin.”

She claims she attempted to raise concerns with multiple broadcasters at the time, including ITV, BBC, and Channel 5, but was largely dismissed. ITV allegedly told her that the incident “didn’t matter” since it did not occur during the production of a show.

“ITV were specifically horrid and even cast doubt on what I was saying. They were cowardly,” she told The Sun.

The broadcaster has declined to comment on the allegations.

Kim Woodburn’s Explosive Claims Against D’Acampo

This is just the latest in a series of troubling allegations against D’Acampo. Earlier this month, his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! co-star Kim Woodburn, 82, openly criticized him, calling him “a full-of-himself little pig.”

Woodburn accused D’Acampo of making inappropriate remarks and engaging in crude behavior while on the reality show. She claimed he once “stroked his private parts” on set, referred to his genitalia as “deprived and neglected,” and swore at producers.

The outspoken TV personality did not hold back, expressing her disdain for D’Acampo’s actions and questioning why his behavior had been tolerated for so long.

More Claims of Inappropriate Behavior

As scrutiny around D’Acampo intensifies, additional claims of inappropriate conduct have emerged. Reports suggest he frequently made sexually explicit jokes and uncomfortable remarks to colleagues, including allegedly “thrusting his crotch” at a female staff member.

A resurfaced clip from Celebrity Juice has also added fuel to the fire. During an episode, Fearne Cotton’s face was recreated on a pizza using pineapple rings for her nose. D’Acampo then made a crude joke about her nostrils, implying it gave her an advantage when performing certain intimate acts.

“I have a theory, and I’m sorry, you know how much I like you, right? But I think when you have big nostrils, actually, you can suck like f**,”* he said, leaving Cotton visibly uncomfortable.

Cotton quickly shut down the conversation, responding, “Alright, you don’t need to elaborate!”

D’Acampo Denies Allegations and Defends His Reputation

Despite the growing number of accusations, D’Acampo has firmly denied all claims of misconduct. Through his lawyer, he issued a statement saying he “emphatically and unequivocally denies” the allegations.

“I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognize the version of events being put to me,” he stated.

He also pointed out that throughout his long career, he has been continuously supported by high-level TV executives and has worked with over 1,500 people on nearly 80 productions.

“Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, but I have also been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately,” he added.

D’Acampo, who has built a brand around his charismatic and playful on-screen persona, insists he takes such matters “extremely seriously” and finds the allegations “deeply upsetting.”

Public Backlash and ITV’s Silent Response

As more details surface, an insider has claimed that it was “no secret” that D’Acampo was difficult to work with. His alleged tendency to joke about his manhood and make inappropriate comments reportedly made many of his colleagues uncomfortable.

Despite the controversy, D’Acampo has continued making public appearances. Over the weekend, he was seen promoting his air fryer and cookbook outside an Asda supermarket, where he interacted with young fans.

However, ITV has reportedly taken action behind the scenes, quietly pulling some of his shows from their programming schedule. The broadcaster has yet to issue a formal response regarding the allegations.
